what does a best friend, eyebrows, and a razor have in common
Well I'll tell you. Last night the girls and i went over to the Hornungs for dinner, while we were there I had Andrea pluck my eye brows, cause I can never get them right. She had done it many times before, so I wasn't worried. I just sat back and let her have at it. After she had them just about done, she said that she was going to use a razor to clean up the little hairs that the tweezers couldn't get. Like I said she had done it before. But as she was shaving them, I thought to myself shes going awful fast. But I didn't say anything. All of the sudden I felt a sting of pain above my eye. I open my eyes to see Andrea's face filled with surprise and horror. I jumped up out of the chair and looked in the mirror. she had cut a little hunk of skin out from below my eye brow! I was like "AHHH!! Andrea!!!! its gushing blood!" as I was holding that portion of my face(of course I was being alittle dramatic, and it didn't hurt at all:)) But boy did Andrea feel bad!! it was sooooo funny!! Andrea just kept saying "I'm sooooo sorry, are you sure you're ok?" As I was laughing my head off. So that was my excitement for the week! Later!

Enchanted review
Ok, I'm sorry to all the fairy tell and princesses lovers. But I thought this was the biggest waist of 6 dollars and 25 cents! it was sooooooooooo cheesy. it seemed like something you would watch on Disney channel, but thats my opinion. I'm more in to the action packed movies. I would have rather seen I am Legend or somethin of that nature. oh well, but just giving you the heads up if you are thinking about seeing it. I personally, was very disappointed, cause i had herd that it was good and so on.

My fuzzy friends
For those who know me well know that I love animals. I have had pets all my life, and just about any pet you could think of. I've had birds, hamsters, mice, rats, fish, frogs, snakes, salamanders, turtles, a pony, a goat, chickens, rabbits, bugs, cats, dogs.....I think that about covers it. :)) But here are my pet we have of now.
First I'll start with the cats. The first is Frank, he is the gray one. the second is Sprite. She is the white with tabby. Those two are Cayla's cats, and the other two are mine. There all just abunch of babys.
The Black on is Jed, he is so lovey, and then theres Charlie. I would describe him as a lone ranger. But the cutest lone ranger you ever saw!
Next is the Dogs, The Golden Retriever is Britstol, he is the old man, but still a puppy at heart...now everyone is supposed to go "aaawwwww." Anyway Then there is Pocono. All puppy, and mutt.
Pocono looks so sad in this picture, I think it was because it was soooooo cold out side(and that I accidentally stepped on her foot) So she went inside her pin. Thats were this picture is taken
Then there are the fluffy bunnies, Artemis(I call her Arty), Chuck, and Thumbelina. Artemis is mine, Chuck is Delainey's and Thumbelina is Caylas....why she named her that is beyond me. She doesn't look anything like a thumb.
Here is Arty, she was trying to hide from the camera,
This is Chuck
And this is Thumbelina.
Man, I'm getting worn out..*gasp* ok, next is the chickens. I'm not even going to go into detail, cause there chickens. And then there is my fish Vallarious, don't ask where the name came from.
my fish is a Betta, they are pretty much the best fish in the world, very hardy.
And that concludes this post!

The Bee Movie
So, today Dad, Cayla, Delainey and I all went to see the Bee Movie. And I'm happy to report that it was very good! I was so happy that there was no inappropriate things in it. At least none that I caught. It was very funny, and it was clean funny! So I encourage you, if you are going to the movies, this is a very funny, family friendly movie.
Later this week the girls and I are going to see Enchanted, so I'll give you the full report on that also.

My favorite horses...so far
Here are my best equine buddies. The chestnut brown is named Guy, he is a saddle bred. Guy is the old man of the herd. Kind, but stubborn. The black and white one is Bruno. He is a spotted walking horse, and the gentlest one you will ever meet. I like to refer to him a gentile giant, he is 17 hands tall. The white on is Vanilla, she is a appaloosa walking horse. She is pregnant and will have her foul around March or April. I am soooooo excited!! She is small compared to the other two horses, but boy does she have an attitude to offset with her size! She is quite a brat. Yesterday, Cayla and I went riding, we had a really good time. I was teaching her how to ride bare back. She rode Guy and I rode Vanilla. and yes you can ride pregnant horses. We had so much fun. It is a little challenging for her to "hang on" with her legs while we are trotting. But she is doing very well, at least better than I thought she would. Its a good bonding time for Cayla and I. Because you know the age she is right know, she can get VERY annoying at times :) But we seem to get along great when just she and I are riding the horses into the sunset.

An epiphany
I've had an epiphany!!! I always try to wait till something amazing happens in my life to write a post about it. Well, i have decided to write about my day to day life. So here it goes.
the first thing i'll do is walk you through a normal day.
i wake up, and start on school. when i get school done its about lunch time. After lunch i usually go ride horses over at my neighbor's house. Because they don't have the time to ride them. So i get to ride when ever i want, which is really nice. after i'm done riding i come home, horse around with the girls and do what ever chore needs to be done around the house. by dinner time i've had my shower and so have the girls. we eat dinner pop in a movie and chill. while the girls are watching there movie i usually watch tv or get on the computer. by the time the girls' movie is over its almost time for bed. we all get ready for bed, then i tuck the girls in. if its not to late i sometimes play xbox, read, or just go on to bed. sounds like a boring life right? well, since we're usually home all the time we have to find ways to entertain ourselves. you know besides being on the computer or watching tv all the time. So i have a spectacular toy called a video camera...... you can make just about anything happen with this wonderful toy. as soon as i get a cable for it i'm going to try to load some of my adventures on here. its mostly crazy/stupid stuff, but it gets people to laugh! ;)

During the skillet concert
The Skillet concert was great, but there was something even greater that happened that night. But I will have to start at the beginning.
I ended up working with the security coordinator(whose name is Jason) the whole time. We were on a four wheeler all day going around checking the security stations, and running errands for people. The concert started around 7:00, it was dark and nobody else was coming through the gate, So Jason and I decided to go get all the volenteers and tell them they could come down and listen to the rest of the concert. As we approached the front gate there were 2 guys(an older man and his son) standing by the road listening to the music. They looked alittle shady, but we stopped nun the less. Jason gave a friendly hi, and started to talk to the older man. Soon, Jason just, out of the blue asks "do you know my Jesus?" the older man looked at us for a minute and then said yes. But he preceded to tell us that he had backslid and lost every thing he had. " I'm living in the book of Job." he said. "I am divorced from my wife and I drink all the time." Jason asked if we could pray with him, but he said no because he had a beer in his pocket. Then Jason asked if he could see his beer. "I'm not going to poor it out, and I'll give it right back to you" Jason said. So the old man did. As soon as Jason had the beer in his hand he said "now you don't have a beer in your pocket." And he held his hand out for the old man to hold so we could pray. With a slight smile the old man took Jason's hand. And we prayed. After Jason got done, the man was in tears, I was in tears, and Jason was in tears. It was incredible feeling! The old man looked at us with love in his eyes and said "you don't even know what you just did for me!" He gave Jason and I a huge and said please don't forget me in your prayers! We tried to get him to come down to the concert but he kept refusing, saying "just don't forget me in your prayers!" So I ask all of you who read this, don't forget Denise in you prayers.

Arting and Thriving
I thinks most of you saw the moon I painted for Chads serves "shine like the moon". So my new project is painting vines around the windows of Sacred Grounds. Rachel Manias is also helping me with this project...and I have to say it looks SWEET!!!! So, you all should come and check it out. Also if you didn't get to see the moon, its also hanging in the youth house. So come on down and check out the youth ministry, and look at some art while your there. I have to say I am so pleased with the way the youth ministry has grown. So my hat is off to all the youth couches. I am also ecstatic about our whole church family coming together again. I feel like we have grown a ton! So I encourage all to be on your guard and continue to pray, because Satan is not happy about what we are doing at GCC. And I know he is going to try to attack us in any way possible. I also think the new church building is right around the corner!! I can't wait!!!! The church family has just exploded!! We are just Thriving! luv all you guys!

I'm Back
Well I am still alive after the state fair.....barely. I am so ready to come back to church! I think thats one thing that I missed the most. Oh ya, I also miss sleep. I think I will be sleeping for a whole week to catch up on what I lost. The fair was not a good one this year. They were down 20,000 people the very first day. It was so hot out hardly nobody came. Needless to say this year was a dud. I can't wait to see every body again. I feel like I've been gone for ages. Now I have to get back into the groove of life again. Oh ya please pray for me, Mom is gone again. If you don't know what I mean email me.

Blogger name
Well....some of you might be wondering why my blog title is Horse Whisperer. So I'll tell you.
I am currently learning how to train horses. Its a natural way of training them called Parelli. I have decided that I want to train horses professionally. So After I graduate high school(which will be next year!!) I am going to work for a few years and then go to Colorado to continue schooling. I'll tell you a little about Parelli. I am basically learning how to "talk" to horses, read there body language. So far I can move the horse I am working with by just looking at her. It's pretty amazing. I can also back her up by wiggling my finger and so on. I plan to get a video up as soon as I learn how to do that..lol

State Fair
On Tuesday I'll be leaving to go work the state fair.........barf. You work more than 12 hours every day and you work like a dog, to say the least I'm not looking forward to it. I will be working in a corn dog and lemondad stand with Ms. Hornung and my cousin Brenna. At least this year should be more fun. Beacause last year I was sick the whole time with the flu and bronchitis. And I'll be working on my 17th Birthday. Not so very fun. So I'll be gone for 2 weeks. But I guess I'll make the best of it.
