Well here I am, its been over a year since I've even looked at this thing. But i decided to start writing again. Most of them will consist of my everyday adventures, and my journey around the country and possibly the world.
So here I go, let us begin.....
Today I flew to New Orleans. This was not the original plan, I was supposed to be going to Las Vegas.. but plans change by the minute in my life. So here I am. The plan ride(s) down here were quite interesting. I will just mention a few highlights..
First off I fly standby, so I really never know if I will actually get on a flight or not... This morning at approximately 5:35a.m. I was cutting it close. My plane left at 6:15 a.m. and I had just printed out my boarding pass when I started heading for the security line.... then I realized it started right in front of me. Yes thats right. The line for security was backed up all the way to the front desks. As i mumbled a few choice words I stepped into place behind an older lady.
Thankfully the line waisted little time and started moving at a nice steady pace. I hightailed it through security(cause I'm a pro at this flying stuff ;) and headed toward my gate... but to my dismay there was exactly 5 people waiting on standby... and there was only one seat left.....at this point I started to get butterflies, thinkin I would not be able to get on the flight. But fortunately I had the highest seniority and got the last seat.... haha :) more stories to come about the other flight... but right now I'm watchin Bev play Bejeweled,lol.
